Is it possible to increase the size of the distance in find nearby
places to more than 50m / 80km?
The reason is we have autoroute 2006 / 2007 and MapPoint 2006 with a load of our
employees addresses as pushpins and when we put in a post code it
tells us who is the nearest to that post code going in order from
nearest to furthest away but only up to 50m / 80km we want to be able
to sort for the whole country.
Is there a way of increasing the distance? Or is there a different way
of doing it? Or is there another product that will do it?

I did a quick test and the limit is 80 km. If you go higher the you get an exception error 'the parameter is incorrect'. And yes there is a different way. Mappoint give you the center coordinates and then just calculate the distance for each point and if it is shorter than the limit then it is in.
