Force/unlock scales outside US/EU?

I need to use a more detailed scale to show plotted data outside the US/EU. In other words I'm plotting data in an area without street level mapping and MP only zooms/scales to a certain point.

Is there a function in the active-x controls for the latest release of MP that will override the apparent lockout of the zoom/scale in previous versions?

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to do that..

You might try some inexpensive GIS software such as Manifold or Caliper, also MapInfo and ESRI have free viewer software.

Ah well, thanks for the info. MP is an integral part of a surveying package I wrote for aerial photography, I'm doing work outside the US and forgot about the zoom limitation

vtecy,

I'd like to give this a try.
If you'll send your map to me with a perimeter
drawn around the area of interest.
