I would assume this question has been asked already, so I apologize, however I have yet to find the answer.

On a map of customers, to display all their relevant information, the standard balloon is well.. ugly. Is there a way to alter the balloon shape or format to best fit the content displayed? One map with 10 pie charts selected, with the data listed can get pretty messy.

Considering the first alternative - text boxes, can those be automatically created with the data displayed AND placed in the appropriate vicinity via some coding?

Since I am innexperienced with VB, but have some VBA experience in Excel, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This only answers your question partly (I hope others can give you better idea's). What I mostly do is have only relevant information stored in the balloon. It's not ugly if you use the TAB character as separator, then columns are nice aligned and CL LF for next row.

Then if user click on pushpin you can popup a form with additional information the way you wants.
