| GetPictureFromObject returns strange maps Have anyone successfully used GetPictureFromObject method ftom MapPointUtilities class in VS.NET environment? I have a Windows form with MapPoint ActiveX on it and then an image object of the same size as ActiveX. I am using VB6.Support.IPictureToImage(..) function call to cast ActiveMap's StdPicture to Image format supported by .NET, but the image I get looks completely out of the blue always showing some North-West states (WA, ID, OR) and looks very distorted. Instead of ActiveX I tried launching MapPoint application programmatically and then called GetPictureFromObject on its ActiveMap object. Same effect - I am even getting part of the application navigation bar now showing in the image and everything is again very distorted. CopyImage method of the map works just fine always returning the correct map image. Any thoughts / suggestions would be very appreciated. Alex O. |
