| Getting MapPoint to recognize the new default printer Given that MapPoint does not let you select which printer you'd like to print to I have gone through hoops changing the default printer programmatically, and have succeeded in that. Now the problem is that MapPoint prints to the old default printer, not the correct one. Is there a way to get MapPoint to reload the default printer? Or am I going to need to reload the control? Thanks, Bob         |

| it's working now
If anyone's interested, I got each default printer to be used by each MapPoint map type simply be re-creating the active MapPoint map after I set the default printer and before I call the PrintOut() function. So I'm set. |

Hi, You can give the name of the printer to the ActivePrinter property before calling PrintOut.
