| Getting started - can't find library! help pls! I'm just starting out trying to make a program which uses MapPoint - the problem is that I can't find the libraries in code. eg. I try to import MapPoint.Application, but it's simply not there. What is the problem? is it just that I haven't installed the libraries yet? and where do I do find the libraries to install?         |

What are you using to make the program? For people getting started, I like to point out the resource at Working With Excel and MapPoint on MP2K Magazine This is Excel VBA examples and tutorials and should work with any version or Excel or MapPoint. It starts with very simple examples. If you are looking for good documentation of the API interface I recommend firstly the help file.. at the bottom is Programming Information. There are also the books "MapPoint for Dummies" which actually includes lots of VBA code and also "Programming MapPoint in .NET". The examples in both books should translate easily to any language or development environment. Eric
