| GPS Turn by Turn Instructions Also does any one know how accurate the GetLocation(..) is when the altitude 1 (at its lowest)? I am assuming it has to be greater than .5 miles. Any advice would help Thanks, Jon         |

I was not able to figure out why the turn by turn directions dont work but, i was able to find a solution. If anyone else was having this problem dont initialize MapPoint via CreateInstance() /CreateObject(). If you instead use createProcess() to start MapPoint and then use GetActiveObject(clsid) to get the application pointer you then don't have to use the GPS_ON template any more and the Driving Guidance works. |
