grabbng gps coords

Hi

Out app has now reached a stage where we want to start looking at the best ways to get location data from remote sites and vehicles.
We are Uk based and currently use the transcomm data network to track and contact vehicles.
We now want to add more choice to the app (mobile phones, pda's etc etc) and wonder if there is information, examples out there for use with vb6/vb.net

Thankls in advance.

Hi

Sorry to divert from the thread but on your other recent posting you said that you were using the MapPoint OCX on the main form?

If that's correct can you confirm that in the MapPoint window there is a MapPoint logo in one of the corners. (top right?)

What happens if you click on this logo?

All I get is a blank help file window, is that the same with your application?

Thanks in advance

Roger

My logo is in the bottom left corner and when I click on it I get the mappoint help file.

Hi

Thanks for that info, I'll have to investigate further.
