Greetings! Useful site! I've got to get a demo up and running QUICKLY, and was having trouble doing somethin I thought would be simple. Assuming I have a VB application and have included the MapPoint ActiveX control on a form, how do I generate/zoom a map to a particular point. Basically, I am getting lat/lon via serial connection to my VP app and just want to "show it" quickly on a map? Stupid question, I know. But the answer is not obvious to me. THANKS very much in advance....

The method you are looking for is GoTo. You can find it in the VisualBasic Reference in the MapPoint Help system. Sample code is included in this topic.
