Our GridImp product will produce crude "heat maps" in MapPoint desktop. You must interpolate your data to a grid first. The results are drawn as squares or jagged shapes - not nice smooth contours. Desktop MapPoiont only supports 40 colours, so you can't get nice smooth "heat maps" (eg. like the currently trendy "webpage click" heat maps, etc). I have written contouring algorithms in the past, so I know what is involved to do a "proper" job with GridImp (or a replacement). Unfortunately I am yet to be convinced that there's a sufficient market to make it worthwhile. Richard
