    HELP!!! Exporting Maps and Data???

    Hi,

I currently have Mappoint 2002 and was wondering if you can do the following: Once you create a pushpin map by state (or any other type of data map), can you either export it or save it as html and still be able to drill down into it to view the data stored in the pushpins for each state??? For example, when you create a pushpin map in mappoint, you can double click the pushpin and a bubble pops up with data info for that state. I am trying to get the export or the html to do this. I have tried everything in this version and cannot figure out a way. Do the new versions, Mappoint 2004 or Mappoint 2006, allow you to be able to do this?

    Thanks,
    Grace

    Hi,

Can you please clarify some things ? (English is not my native language)

    What do you means by:

    - a pushpin map
    - a bubble popup for a state
    - data stored in a pushpin

    Hi Gracie --

I don't think you can, the best you could acomplish is something with a tooltip in an html file, at least out of the box. This would not change with MP04 or 06.

If you know some advanced HTML like DHTML or something I think you can accomplish more with HTML but you'd be coding it all yourself after the export.
