Howdy,
I've got MapPoint 2002 and wish to, somehow, create a better looking printable image of some maps.
Every way I can think of to try - copy/paste, save for web and rip the bitmap, embedding it into word, etc. give me jagged lines all over the place and an overall not printworthy map.
The best I've done so far is to run my monitor at max resolution, zoom into the map in Mappoint, increase font size, copy map in 2 or 3 different sections, piece them together in Photoshop, manually eliminate duplicate zip codes, eliminate cut off street names, etc. (tedious), and then create an image from photoshop to bring into Word.
I've got a lot of maps to do and they might change over time, so I don't want to rely on that as a process.
I've noticed that when you print a map directly from MapPoint, the image is much cleaner. Is there a way to capture that quality in a file?
