Hope it doenst soudn TOO much like Im a Noob.. BUT...

I do love access and have just gotten map point. But I am not really refined in MS Offic as ID like to be,

Is there a way I can link map point data (And I have imported spreadsheets data into map point) from an active access database... but when I change the database.. say add soemone or a vendor changes addresses, that it will also change in map point?

Yes you can although it isn't quite automated. Have you seen the "Import Data Wizard"? This lets you import data from Excel/Access/etc. The problem is you would have to re-import it every time the source data changes. This gets old quickly!

So instead, use the Link Data Wizard. This does the same but also stores the name/path of the source data file (hence "Linked"). Then simply refresh the link, and the map will be updated. There are some caveats - the data can have new locations, changed locations, data fields, etc. but don't try to add/remove columns or rename columns (data field names).
