How can I use a hyperlink without saving as a webpage

I have files that I would like to access by hyperlinking directly from the MapPoint program without saving it as a web page first. Is there a way of doing this?

The push pin hyperlink could work, but I can't seem to get it to link to PDF files on my harddrive. Any suggestions?
