I know someone else post this question but the answer was not enough explicit to me! I want to close the "Select a place" dialog programmatically when it appear using the MapPoint 2004 (2006) activeX control. I'm using C#. I know I need to get a handle to this dialog and send the messahe WM_QUIT but I cannot figure how to get this handle. Can someone help me out with this problem ?

Hi,

You can get a handle to any window from it's caption property. I think the form yoi means has a 'Find' caption. So the win32 API function FindWindow(null, "Find") will do it for you I think.
