Hi, I dont think mappoint can generate files, but even if it can, I dont see any reason you should use it. Just use a database and use the search methods provided on it.

What kind of file are you trying to create tlpike, and what are you wanting to store in it? Some more information might help: eg. we might be able to recommend a way of doing what you want or automating it with some custom programming. Richard
