I uploaded my data which includes a column of zip codes and a data field column called "Dollars Spent". I was able to successfully map the data to show a shaded color based on dollars spent. For example, light green is 0-$50, medium green is $51-$100 and dark green is $100. This is just an example.

However, I would also like to show the amount in text on top of the shaded zip codes. For example, I would like to show the shaded color and the amount on time such as $13, $56, $107, etc. based on the exact amount for that zip.

Is there a way to show the actual text value of the data on top of the zip code? I've been searching the help and tutorials but I have not found a way to do it.

Hi Kendra,

Try changing the "Zip Code" column to "Territory"
Then use the Territory Wizard to create territories of each Zip Code.
It just might work!

Thanks for the idea. I tried uploading the zip codes as territories and it did display the zip code number as text over the zip code area on the map (ex: 20852). However, I could not figure out a way to show the dollar amount associated with that zip code as text over the map. For example, if 20852 generated $50 in expenses, I want the text to say $50 rather than 20852.

Here's the format of my Excel file:

Zip Code Dollar Amt
20852 $50
20850 $23
20854 $105
etc.

Do you have any other thoughts on how I could achieve this?

Kendra, you need to make the "Zip Code" column have the title "Territory",
then it will work.
