I have just learned that there is an addin called "Pushpin Tool" which will let you export any point layer from MapPoint even a point file that you geocoded in MapPoint. It extracts the Lat and Lon too.
Cost is $75.00, just check the Mp2Kmag.com articles.

The Pushpin Tool was developed by John Meyer and has other features besides exporting lat/lon's of pushpins including mass-manipulation of ballon states (pushpin labels). A trial is available and it can be ordered here: http://www.mp2kmag.com/downloads/pushpin.tool/
