Is there any method of reporting MapPoint bugs to Microsoft and if so what are the chances of any action being taken?

Is it a software bug or a data problem?

For software bugs I would open a tech support incident, I don't think they will charge you if you are reporting a bug and that would be the most direct way to speak to MS.. also, try posing the the "Feature Requests .." thread in the Wish List forum.

For data problems, use the Send Map Feedback tool.. I would imagine that how fast and whether your reported fix is incorporated would depend on the specific data layer and vendor.
