how to get Zipcode from the Latitude/longitude
I would like to know if there is a way to get zipcode, provided that i have only longitude and latitude for a place. I am using mapPoint 2006. I would like to use MapPoint Object model only to get this information

Firstly, you need to get zip / postal codes database. Use for example Zip Postal Codes. There a lot of zip / postal codes for many countries.

Also there (on Zip Postal Codes web site) you can find a formula for calculation distance between 2 postal codes.

Using the MapPoint objects:

GetLocation (map obj returns location obj)
StreetAddress (location obj returns streetAddress obj)
PostalCode (streetAddress obj returns string)
