How many MapPoint licenses are out there?

| How many MapPoint licenses are out there?  I have been trying to estimate how many licenses of MapPoint are out there or even the number sold in a typical year. I have come up short so I thought I would ask the experts. Any guesses? As you are probably aware these numbers are buried within the finacial reporting of the Mobile and Embeded Devises Division. Last year the division brought home $156M most of which I assume was brought in by Mobile Devices Group and the Embedded Devices Group. How much of this is likely MapPoint?         |

I heard a number like 15,000 registrations a year or so ago, so maybe 30-50,000 sold copies? That is extremely rough. You might be able to get an estimate from a distributor if you bribe the right people  Eric
