How to update
I just recived MapPoint 2002. It seems to be way behine on new streets in my area. When will MapPoint be up dated? Is there a link to go to to up date maps?

There's not.. MS does have a couple updated Geography products including Streets & Trips 2003 and MapPoint .NET (as well as AutoRoute 2003 for Europe) but there has not been an updated release of MapPoint after MP 2002. I've heard there should be one in less than 6 mos.

can you install mappoint disc 1 and use streets and trips disc 2 for data?

No unfortunately.. the applications are intimately tied to the underlying data, I would imagine for performance reasons.. it's not a like GIS platform where the underlying cartographic data can be easily swapped.
