Hi,

I'm not sure I can answer your question, but can you tell what exacly you wants to do with the area code ?

Also do you want to import something to mappoint.exe or do you wants to do something programatically ?

Here's what I'm doing:

I have sales data in Excel which include addresses, state, zip code and area code. We want to check in Mappoint which territory aren't we selling our products.

Instead of using state or zip code, we want to use the area code(first 3 numbers of telephone) to map the data.

Here's the problem, when we use the Import Data Wizard, we were able to mapped the addresses, zip code, state but NOT the area code.

My question is, how can we use the area code in the Data wizard?

Would it be possible to create Territories out of the area codes and then link those to the zip codes. That would give MapPoint a spatial reference to link the area codes to.
