Hospitals are one of the landmarks, but you have to zoom in pretty close for them to show up. Oddly I am not finding any in New Orleans, maybe just because I don't know where to look.
If you have your own list of Hospitals with their addresses or lat/lon's, then yes it's very easy. You would import them as Pushpins and they will show up at the state (zoom) level.

You can find names/addresses of all US hospitals at http://www.cms.gov/data/download/default.asp. Load it in, assign it a pushpin, and they will pop out at you, unlike those included in Mappoint. The Mappoint database is woefully incomplete in regard to medical facilities. Medicare has a wealth of (free) information, however, on lots of providers: hospitals, ASCs, nursing homes, dialysis clinics, DME suppliers, physicians (by specialty), etc. However, recognize that as with any Medicare database, the information is about a year old.
