I suspect you are using the "multiple symbol" option when mapping your data. This is a new 2002 feature that allows you to assign a separate icon to each of up to 8 categories of data. You can indicate in which column the category data is stored. If the column you indicate has more than 8 different values, you will get an error message to this effect. So, our suggestion would be to ensure that you use the Pushpin option when mapping your data. |
