Thanks. I have actually posted the question there as well, for the part about changing the current icon. But I was thinking I'd need to acquire the icon image from MapPoint, don't I?
In other words, anybody can change an icon to an hourglass or some other standard Windows icon. But as far as the red pushpin, would I need to get that from a MapPoint.Symbols list or something like it?

Sometimes it is much quicker to make a cursor/icon/etc yourself, rather than spend a day or two trying to find out if it is accessible and then finding that it is not.
