| I need to select from more than eight colors I need to have more than 8 colored automobile icons. I need more like 64 shades. Is this possible to do? How would I do this? Thanks for the help. Bob         |

You can add new icons by using the "Import Custom Symbol" button that appears when you select different pins on the drawing toolbar. I would caution against the use of 64 different colours. MapPoint limits the number of colours, and even if you could have 64, users would have trouble telling them apart. I would choose a combination of different automobile design and different colours. Eg. 4 designs with 16 colours. Richard

I think it may be an issue about DisplayDataMap having only 8 categories. The way I used to always do it was having a routine to render Pushpins individually.. not exactly speedy but it was effective. Eric
