I would like to know if the maps of MapPoint are often updated, because, in my city, there is a boulevard which changed name into 1993, but in MapPoint the name did not change, it's still with the old one, Do you think that he will have several update in the streets in version 2003 Also, I would like to know when MapPoint 2003 will hit the store.

The maps are not updatable between version releases. Only construction information can be updated. Use the "Send Map Feedback..." option on the "Tools" menu to let Microsoft know about street errors. Things change a great deal between versions, but MS can't be sure something is fixed unless they know about the problem.

Many people are hoping that one enhancement to MapPoint 2003 will be some way to update the data more frequently, but there is no way to know if this has any chance of happening.

There is no information on MapPoint 2003 on the Microsoft web site, but if I recall correctly MapPoint 2002 came out in or around May, 2001. I guess I would expect MapPoint 2003 in May or June. This is an absolute guess, based on no inside information whatsoever.
