Hello...I just received my trial copy of MapPoint2002. I am trying to integrate mappoint with a vb.net application that is getting data from a sql server. One of my tables includes zip codes that I would like to map. I see where there are some examples of importing and exporting via an Excel spreadsheet....but I haven't found anything that describes how to import directly from Sql Server. is this even possible? If not...then is the best approach to send my sql server tables to excel and then import that?

The other way to do it is through a Microsoft Data Link or UDL file.. start in the Help File and search for Microsoft Data Link, you can find some more references here: http://www.google.com/search?q=site%...p2kmag.com+udl

After I posted last night...and before falling to sleep...I did find something on the UDL solution. I tried it quickly...it seemed to work all right...but I need to experiment with it some more.
