ImportData and LinkData errors with Delphi 2006

I am converting our Delphi 7 app to Delphi 2006 and have run into problems with Mappoint

The following code

oDataset := oMap.DataSets.ImportData(Filename, Null, geoCountryUnitedKingdom, geoDelimiterDefault, 0);

gives a 'No matching method defined for these fields' EOleException error

and

oDataset := oMap.DataSets.LinkData(Filename, 'ItemID', Null, geoCountryUnitedKingdom, geoDelimiterDefault, 0);

gives a 'The parameter is incorrect' EOleException error.

This code works fine in Delphi 7

Please can anyone help

this turned out to be a bug in the latest version of kbmMemTable, ie. version 5, whereby saving to a file only output the first character of the field name in the column headings row which then obviously caused a problem for Mappoint

Hi,

I still did not upgrage to kbmMemtable version 5. But some exception erro in one of the mappoint events can be a result of it.
