We are importing around 1500 records. 132 of these records do not match up to an address in the MAPPOINT database. Are there any possible solutions to this besides doing it manually? Is there a way to check a secondary address list?

Not really. I created a VB Interface to control MapPoint. Using that interface, it would pull up all the records that didn't match in MapPoint, and show me what suggestions MapPoint had. Each one has to be checked manually the first time; if a suitable alternative address is found, then that address is stored in a database as the 'mappoint address'.
I decided to set up some flags. One indicates how well MapPoint believes the new address matches the original one, the other flag is the same, but from the end-users' perspective. This helped me to audit which were decent matches, and I could choose to leave loosely-matched records from a given map if I wanted to.
I dunno if that will help you at all, but that's what I had to do to reduce the # of records that would simply be left out of the map.
would really help me. can you send me an example ?
Am facing exactly the same problem.
Thank you !
