If your phone number is not formatted (ie 000-000-0000 or (111) 111-1111) Mappoint tries to use it as a number. If you are using the Data Wizard and try to add data using the phone number field (unformatted phone numbers) the wizard, by default, seems to sum numbers. Try formatting the cells containing the phone numbers to look like xxx-xxx-xxxx or something of the sort. This seems to fix the way the phone numbers are displayed. |
