Our county in NYS uses State Plane 1983 projection, instead of Lat/Long. Can anyone tell me how I use our existing coordinates to import data into MapPoint? Given the size of our database, geocoding is simply out of the question.
Thanks.

There will be a transformation available. You need to get WGS84 coords, btw.
You can do the transformation "up-front" - ie. saving the new coords into the database, or you can write an add-in or utility (eg. in Visual Basic 6) for MapPoint to perform the transformation. I haven't worked with this particular one, but coordinate transformations are fairly simple to code up.

I used the program CoordTrans to translate State Plane X & Y to Mappoint's plain vanilla latitude and longitude. It costs $50.
