I'm searching for a method to display GPS-data in MapPoint in an automated way. I'm aware of going the way via "importing" data, selecting the file of interest and then "explain" to MapPoint the different fields, among them the Lat/lon-fields for defining the position of the records.
However, this process should be automated by a simple click of a button, assuming, that the field names are always the same. Also the classifiaction of the fields in the legend should be done automatically in a predefined way.
Probably someone can tell me, how to best implement this by VB or whatever. Or you have some links available to existing solutions!?
Or even better, if someone having experience in programming with MapPoint would offer me development of this and other features.[/quote]
