shut up, TortugusRex!
it worked.
Hey guys i just downloaded Ms Streets and trips 2004 (i dunno if that is the same as MapPoint). I got it in 2 seperate folders one labeled CD1 which contains:
1. Setup_ST.exe
2. cd1run.exe
3. Setup_STini
4. AUTORUN.INF
5. Pstreets folder
6. Streets Folder
The other folder is labeled GEO11NA and contains:
1. cd2run.exe
2. AUTORUN.INF
3. Pstreets folder
4. Streets Folder
When i try and do setup from the first folder it tells me i need to use an administrative installation. When i followed instructions to do one it would begin the installation and then just say the installer was interrupted and close. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

When I had a similar problem, i observed that it was failing while installing administrative installation because it was not able to locate some of the data files which are part of the second CD. These data files were: USA_CD, USARoads.DAT, USARoute.NDX
My suggestion would be move the contents of both the CDs to a sinlge folder. Make sure that you copy the contents to respective folders before begining installation. This worked for me
Thanks
whoever that was that replied to helen I Thank You. your observation worked for me also
