Hi Chris, Possible, I think so yes, should be no problem. Allowed yes as long there is only 1 user simultanously. It is a kind of general rule: thread software as a book: 'there is only 1 user that can read it at 1 given moment'.

| Thanks
Hi Wilfried, thanks for your answer. The first technical problem is solved now, it was caused by a previous installation of the trial version. The Uninstall does'nt clear all registry keys so there where links to the unsinstalled trial version instead of to the new version. Now I can use MapPoint but can't find the MapPoint Control to insert it into a project. Maybe it can be installed/registered separatly? Thanks for any help Chris Werner |

Hi Chris, I cannot test at the moment (busy on an old win9x machine.. But you can install the component with RegSrv32 /install <compnoentname> (or something similar)

| I have installed on Terminal Server but...
I am having trouble making it work in Application mde. I get an error like it does not know where to find the install files, please reinstall. I do and still get the same thing. Tried doing the administrativie install, tried throught mapped drive, tried locallly. I did however get it to work in Remote Admin mode. When I convert over to Application mode, I can only get it to work with the Administrator account. I know I have to have licenses for every desktop that accesses it, but how do I get irt to work with all users? Thanks in advance Primetime, MCSE, MCP+I, CCNA |

Not terminal services but on Citrix I have succesfully installed mappoint allowing only one concurrent user at any one time it did just install as it says on the tin. However we have now purchased 3 more licences and whilst trying to install it on one of the citrix servers I am recieving the same error.. so as soon as you I have sussed it I'll let you know... |
