You can use the desktop version of MapPoint, but you will need a COM Bridge - ie. a library that allows you to call COM programming interfaces. There are a number out there - some cost money, some are open source. Typically they have examples that use Word or Excel - both have the same kind of interface as MapPoint. Richard
