The complexity of major highway interchanges has great visual appeal for me when abstracted from the concrete and steel; you're left with interesting bits of art that tickle some of the same spots in my brain as the works of H.R. Giger and M.C. Escher. Here's a great example in Albany, NY where I lived for a number of years -
Here's a Collection I started recently of others. often chaotic at first glance, there's obviously great order and structure in each of them. maybe not swindon
