    two attacks done today in iraq resulting in more than 10 killed soliders (some sources said they were 26 injured and killed soliders)

    the first one was revealed in some arabic channels before it is cancelled due to the US pressure and it was because of a remote bombed mine aimed to (soliders carrier) and it resulted in 10 killed soliders according to ALARABIA the channel that did the interveiw with the last iraqi information minister

    this attack was in ((Al-Ramadi)) to the west of baghdad

    the second attack was an RBG attack resulted in 9 injured and killed soliders according to the reporter of ALARABIA (the last source)

    another solider was killed in remving some mines in Karbala ( i am not 100% sure about this one)

    (I don't have access to MP in the office, so I can't actually look at the ptm to see...I'm just going off of the pictures.)

    This is why I was wondering about e00 files the other day...I found a lot of road and point data for Iraq and wanted to import it in.

    Sergey Berezniker (VFP MVP) submitted this code which is a translation of the Iraq Grid code to Visual FoxPro --

    Code:
    LOCAL lnV, lnH, lnY, lnX, lnItem
    LOCAL oMapApp AS Mappoint.Application, oMap AS Mappoint.Map
    LOCAL aoLoc[5]

    #DEFINE True  .T.
    #DEFINE False .F.
    #DEFINE geoMapStylePolitical 	4
    #DEFINE geoSendBehindRoads		5

    *Set up the application
    oMapApp = CREATEOBJECT("MapPoint.Application")
    oMap = oMapApp.ActiveMap
    oMapApp.ActiveMap.MapStyle = geoMapStylePolitical

    DIMENSION aoLoc[5]

    *Starting values
    lnX = 38.90587
    lnY = 29.05803

    lnItem = 1

    FOR lnH = 1 To 24
    	FOR lnV = 1 To 25
    		*Get three locations and zoom in
    		aoLoc[1] = oMapApp.ActiveMap.GetLocation(lnY, lnX)
    		aoLoc[2] = oMapApp.ActiveMap.GetLocation(lnY + 0.34698916666666, lnX)
    		aoLoc[3] = oMapApp.ActiveMap.GetLocation(lnY + 0.34698916666666, lnX + 0.42056739130437)
    		aoLoc[4] = oMapApp.ActiveMap.GetLocation(lnY, lnX + 0.42056739130437)
    		aoLoc[5] = oMapApp.ActiveMap.GetLocation(lnY, lnX)
    		oMap.Location = aoLoc[1]

    		*Create a polyline by connecting these locations
    		oMap.Shapes.AddPolyline(@aoLoc)

    		oMap.Shapes.item(lnItem).Line.Weight = 0.1
    		*oMap.Shapes.item(lnItem).Fill.Visible = True
    		*oMap.Shapes.item(lnItem).Fill.ForeColor = RGB(255,0,0)
    		oMap.Shapes.item(lnItem).ZOrder(geoSendBehindRoads)

    		lnY = lnY + 0.34698916666666
    		lnItem = lnItem + 1
    		* Give some feedback to user
    		IF (lnItem % 10) = 0
    			WAIT WINDOW NOWAIT TRANSFORM(lnItem) + " of " + TRANSFORM(24*25)
    		ENDIF
    	ENDFOR
    	lnX = lnX + 0.42056739130437
    	lnY = 29.05803
