My girlfriend and I use MapPoint on a laptop with a GPS for road trips. The car icon moves around the screen, and when it gets near the edge MapPoint the map around it rather jarringly. It would be a great improvement if the map stayed centered around the car icon.

Another improvement would be the ability to rotate the map on the screen. Frequently, a map with North as up is not the most intuitive orientation.

By combining the previous two possible improvements another could be made known as track up. Track up would be very useful for road trips as it rotates the map so that up is the direction your car is moving.

I agree TRACK UP should be a option, a very useful option. Using MapPoint 2002 and think it's great all things considering. How about a add-in ... is there something already out there for this?
