Question Layering two or more sets of data

I am using the .importdata method via the MapPoint Object Model and the MapPoint UserControl. (VB6) I set symbol for the entire set and everything looks terrific. I want to bring in another dataset and layer it on top using a different symbol. With ESRI MapObjects I would create another layer. How does MapPoint manage layering of two sets of data?

Thanks in advance.
