Link using parameter query in Access, still no?

A few years ago I had tried to link MapPoint to a parameter query in Access, but MapPoint would not even recognize the query. Now I have that same need again, but still see the same issue. After searching the forum I see back in 2002 someone else wanted to do the same thing. Does anyone know of a solution or work around?

Parameter query in Access means the criteria is being supplied by selections made on a form.

Re: Link using parameter query in Access, still no?

What we've done is write a value to a sort of dummy table that the query links to... so you don't actually have a parameter query, but you write a temporary value to a table that the query links to. hope that makes sense.

Yep. That's what I ended up doing as well. Thanks.
