Exclamation LocationToX and LocationToY very slow

I'm plotting what could be up to 2250 locations of a route. I'm using LocationToX, and LocationToY. In MP2004, this was no problem, but in MP2006 it is REALLY slow. Has anybody else seen this?

Hi,

I did not really do a comparisation, but do you need this at every location that you plot ? maybe other approach is possible ?

Re: LocationToX and LocationToY very slow

Well, I could find the corners of the map and throw out everything I don't need..., but when I have higher zoom levels (more view) the entire route is seen, so I'd still get the hit then unless I reduced the number of points shown. Why did this call slow down so much?

Hi,

Dont know wy it is slower. How mutch slower is it in 2006 ? I think the best is to reduce the number when zoomed out if it is possible for the usage of course, and when zoomed in then only plot what is visible in the window area.
