The firm for which I work is NOT a MapPoint subscriber (we're a very small firm), but we may have the need in the next few days to get street addresses from 15 or so sets of lat-longs. I have heard that MapPoint can do this -- is that the case?

Would anyone be willing to (potentially) run 15 or so of these for us? We could negotiate reimbursement for the time before you run anything.

Just 15? You can easily do this manually with the desktop product of MapPoint or even Street & Trips. Use the Location sensor and then click on the street. However, you won't know for certain if the address actually exists, clicking on the street returns all possible addresses in the range for that street segment. You could however show business and points of interest and grab valid addresses that way. What is your application?

We use a different Mapping app altogether (MapInfo), so that's the whole issue. Is there some online version or something?

A quick search on Google will find you a few more. (I belive MapQuest can do it to)

And of course, I'd recommend getting a copy of Mappoint or Streets and Trips even through you're a Mapinfo shop. You never know when you'll have the need for these extra tools...(and the cost isn't too much.)
