i have vector map in mapinfo format, i want to import and make base map to Mappoint 2002 nort america, anyone can help how to do this ?
i have tried but it's no success, i have trouble to make big zoom scale for it. and in mappoint my vector map doesn't have data base.

You can't make your own base map unfortunately -- but very rich base maps are already built into the two products (MapPoint NA & EU). MapPoint would not be of much help in detailed maps for other areas like Asia or South America.

Other items can only be brought in as drawing objects, with no database attributes associated with them. Short of Pushpins which are a special case, any data->drawing object functionality would have to be a funtion of your own custom program.
