Map-In-A-Box Offers User-Friendly, Cost-Effective Street Data,Geocoding and Drive Time Creation for ESRI ArcGIS Users

This new product gives ESRI ArcGIS users a cost-effective solution for street data, geocoding and drive time polygon creation. It is available in both North American and European versions. The North American edition includes street level data for Canada and the United States while the European edition includes data for Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Following the successful launch of Map-In-A-Box for MapInfo Professional in October 2002, Mapping Solutions today adds another product to its growing software/data offerings with Map-In-A-Box for the ESRI ArcGIS 8 platform. “We wanted to offer ESRI ArcGIS users the same ease of use and value this unique software data product offers,” said Duncan Campbell, Mapping Solutions Vice President. Map-In-A-Box enables ArcGIS users to utilize the Microsoft MapPoint street-level maps and functionality seamlessly inside the ArcMap framework. The application includes the following features.

4. Address search and lookup.
5. Reverse geocoding information tool.
