assuming i wanted to map the state of illinois by county automatically by integer and decimal #'s (each county would have a total...like a sum) and each county would be in a different color, how would i do that?

seemingly easy, but i have yet to figure it out

also, i was wondering if anyone knows how to isolate a particular US State on a map while simultaneously turning off the country titles and names of individual states.

For instance, say I want to print a map of Illinois by itself without other states appearing.
