About LinkBacksHello I was wandering if you know why do I get a slighly different route by optimizing stops in Map Point and in Street & Trips for the same set of points?
Can you tell me more about the algorithm behing those 2 software?

Hello I was wandering if you know why do I get a slighly different route by optimizing stops in Map Point and in Street & Trips for the same set of points?
Can you tell me more about the algorithm behing those 2 software?

Blue Belt Are you comparing the same version year of the two products (for example MapPoint 2010, Streets & Trips 2010)?

White Belt Actually no, it's MAP point 2009 and Street and Trip 2010...Do you think there's a difference in the optimization?

Blue Belt The difference in map data (newer map data vs. older map data) may be causing the results you are seeing.
MapPoint 2009 vs Streets & Trips 2009 should create identical routes, though. Just as MP2010 vs S&T2010 should.
