I read that I can insert mp maps off the insert menu into other office apps. I tried it in Word, and there was indeed an option on the insert menu, picture, but it didn't work (wasn't grayed - just nothing happened).

I want to make a slide show in Power Point, but taht application didn't even have the mp menu item on the insert menu. In addition, when I tried a regular insert picture from file pull down menu option and browsed to a mp map, I got all these conversion options and none seemed to lead to a viewable map. SAme thing happened in Word.

In MapPoint, click the edit menu, then Copy Map. This puts the image on the clipboard. Then go to PowerPoint and click Edit, then Paste.

I know you can copy and Paste the Legend in separately. Then maybe you can just put in the title with PowerPoint.

I think if you just right click on the map and then choose copy that will copy the legend as well as the map for copying into Powerpoint. I have to admit though that if the maps are for show I usually do my own version of the legend in excel for greater clarity.
