| MapForums Changes Added a home page using vBAdvanced - currently this has the default modules, but we can add more and customize it with news and a welcome message. If you wish to bypass the new home page and go directly to the forum you can bookmark http://www.mapforums.com/forum.php The Navigation bar has Google ads removed. It appears this had been slowing the site page loads, probably due to a html error. You may also remember that the right side ads were removed recently for users who are logged in. So in all there is less screen real estate cluttered with ads! There is now a module that shows the Top Posters for a month, this can be accessed by going to Quick Links and then "Top Posters of the Month". I have also added "Advanced Forum Statistics", see the bottom of http://www.mapforums.com/forum.php .This shows the most viewed and "hottest" (most replied to) threads as well as the top posters of all time. |
